IMPORTANT! The Meta Quest headset features a heavy and strong noise canceling filter that will block any sound beyond a users voice. Thus the need of an external device.

What do I need to use Note Detection?

There are 3 methods to use Note Detection features in IMMERROCK. Which one will depend in your situation.

Real Tone Cable

The Rocksmith Real Tone cable can be quite expensive, so we recommend it if you already own one, just buy a USB to USB-C adaptor to connect it to the Headset.

KYXAIN MOMIX CAB Guitar Audio Interface

This Micro Guitar Interface is more affordable than the Real Tone cable. It comes with a USB-C Cable, and while you have to use headphones, you can hear the app mixed with your guitar or bass. You will need to buy your own 1/4 in guitar cable, and we also recommend you buy a 90 degree USB-C adaptor to reduce the port tension on the headset.

Wireless Microphone

If you have an acoustic guitar and you don't have a an option to plug a cable, then you may use a Wireless Lavalier Microphone. The microphone placement has a big impact on how well the sound gets picked up.

IMPORTANT! The Meta Quest headset microphone will not capture any guitar or bass sound. The Meta Quest headset microphone has a very strong background filter that is not possible to remove.
